TARA'S STORY:
THE BIRTH OF THE UNIVERSE
Come see Tara and all of her beautiful children come to life in this colorful story filled with puppets of all kinds. Based on a sacred Tibetan myth, Tara, the beloved Mother Goddess of the Universe, lives in a vast, dark space. All alone, she begins to think of her children: about how much she misses them...about how much she loves them. So Tara begins to call out into the darkness. As she calls, she begins to dance--
setting the Universe and all its amazing life into motion.  With original score by Paul Von Mertens, this magical creation myth embraces the love of life and our remarkable universe.

, combines marionette and bunraku puppetry with original score and narration.  Each puppet is constructed of found objects and recycled materials, teaching audiences the value of environmental consciousness paired with timeless morals. Now available for performances for all ages.

The Yellow Wallpaper:

Charlotte Perkins Gilman's haunting Victorian short story, considered to be one of the first feminist literary pieces, tells the journey of a young woman, Jane, whose newborn baby is kept from her by her physician husband, John.  In order to keep Jane from her hysteria, this misguided attempt to heal his wife leads to Jane's only escape through madness.
Combining original American Gothic musical score and stunning Victorian shadow puppetry, this show is perfect for High School and Adult audiences.
